Limited Parking will be available via the car-park in College Park East, located at the corner of College Park & Botanic Avenue. The Peter Froggatt center can be accessed via the steps from this car-park.

Anyone with walking difficulty should use the entrance to the front of the Lanyon Building, accessed via University Square, which is one way accessed from University Road. Once in the gate, proceed past the main Lanyon building, and turn left at the end. From the parking area, the Peter Froggatt Centre is accessed through the archway, once you enter the quadrangle, the Peter Froggatt Centre on the opposite side of the grass area.

After-Party Location

Brewbot (upstairs), 451 Ormeau Road, Belfast

We will have the full upstairs of Brewbot to ourselves. Access to the upstairs area can be made either via the steps at the front door, or at rear of the downstairs bar (next the toilets). A lift is available for anyone who may find the stairs difficult.

Ports & Transport


George Best City Airport (www.belfastcityairport.com) is only three miles from the city centre, and five miles from our venue.

Belfast International Airport (www.belfastairport.com) is a 30 minute drive via the M2 motorway. A regular Airbus service operates into the city centre.

Ferry Terminals

Belfast Ferry Port is serviced by services from Liverpool England, Douglas Isle Of Mann and Cairnryan Scotland. Located just of the main M2 motorway into Belfast, the terminal is just a 15 minute drive to our venue at Queens University, Belfast.

Larne Harbour Port also services a route to and from Cairnryan in Scotland. Larne is located 25miles north of Belfast, with good road access to and from the port, with a travel time of around 40 minutes.


The closest rail station to our venue is Botanic Station, which is less than 10 minutes walk away. Also nearby is Great Victoria Station, which is a 5 minutes walk away. Both stations are accessible for wheelchair users, although Great Victoria Station would be easier to negotiate.
